No marks and no writings other than dated inscription (1951). Dust jacket exhibits wrinkling and a couple small closed tears. Dust jacket protected by archival cover. Also included ephemera related to book with reviews and a description of the Civil War novel on the Kansas-Missouri border and the Old Central West.
