Cover sheet with light creasing near the crown, last few sheets tanned on the unprinted verso and lower wrap with a tiny stain, very good or better. McAlmon was the founder of Contact Editions, which published James Joyce, Ezra Pound, and several others, including Ernest Hemingway's first book. He was at the center of expatriate life and helped to support various struggling artists and writers in that tumultuous time.
