Rare books from 2nd Impression Books

VG+ / VG. 1932 Tudor Publishing, stated second printing, but research indicates that it's likely actually a first printing and the "2nd printing" carried over from the second edition plates that were re-used to print the Tudor edition. The book is in great shape, particularly given its size (500+ pages). The dust jacket is also quite nice, with just a couple of chips to the edges. A collection of 18 short stories by authors including Faulkner, Lovecraft, Aiken and Strong. All but one(?) being published for the first time in book form.

VG+ / VG+. 1941 Random House, stated first printing. Hardcover with dust jacket. Lovely and rare copy of the first printing of the play - featuring cast member Boris Karloff - produced by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. Basis for the Frank Capra film version starring Cary Grant and Peter Lorre. Both book and jacket have been well cared for over their 80+ years of existence.
