Description:
The book from Russian Imperial Library of Nicoulaus II. The proposed articles were written at different times and on different occasions, but their protagonist invariably remained that motley complex of stratifications of our Russian public, which is known under the general name - the intelligentsia: moderate and revolutionary; fussing about cheese artels and dreaming of world reorganization; following the representatives of the propertied society - in the construction of life, and composing its own - party construction, as an antithesis to this construction; the intelligentsia, gravitating towards the peasantry, and the intelligentsia, with the proletariat at the center of their political plans and socialist prospects.

Description:
USSR propaganda posterEvery child in the USSR heard about the distant Chilean people suffering under the Pinochet junta. The USSR led the international campaign for the release of Luis Carvalan and since 1975 has been negotiating on this topic. In September 1976, the option to exchange Korvalan for the famous Soviet political prisoner, dissident Vladimir Bukovsky was officially announced simultaneously by the Danish Committee of the Sakharov Readings in Copenhagen and by Academician Andrei Sakharov himself in Moscow. On December 15, the Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPSU adopted a decision "On measures in connection with the release of Comrade L. Korvalan", in accordance with which a special aircraft was allocated to deliver Korvalan and his family from Zurich, where the exchange was planned, to the USSR. The KGB of the USSR ensured the delivery of Bukovsky on a special plane to Zurich and sending his mother with him. On December 18, the exchange took place, after which Corvalan received… Read More

Brikner's study "The History of Peter the Great" became the first popular science essay in Russian historiography about the era and personality of Peter I, based on the latest research in historical thought. The History of Peter the Great is divided into six books. Each part covers a separate topic: the personality of the reforming tsar and his associates, the first years of independent rule, administrative and legislative reforms, and the foreign policy of Peter I.The main scientific interest of Alexander Brikner was the turn of Russia in its development towards Europe - therefore, the era of Peter the Great was of paramount interest to him.The value of the publication also lies in the rich illustrative material related to the Petrine era. Description:
Provenance: From the library of famous catholic rector of the Basilica of St. Catherine of Alexandria in St. Petersburg Jan Schislavsky. Stamps of the Carmelite Brotherhood.
The Talmud Unmasked (Latin: Christianus in Talmud Iudaeorum: sive, Rabbinicae doctrinae Christiani secreta. English: The secret rabbinical teachings concerning Christians) published in 1892 by Justinas Bonaventure Pranaitis (1861–1917). The book, generally regarded as antisemitic, is a collection of purported quotations from the Talmud and Zohar that purports to demonstrate that Judaism despises non-Jews and promotes the murder of non-Jews in some instances. Pranaitis drew on the earlier works of Jakob Ecker and August Rohling.
1. Jews do not regard non-Jews as human beings
2. The Talmud contains blasphemies against Jesus and offensive passages about Christians
3. Judaism despises non-Jews
4. The Talmud urges Jews to do a variety of harms to Christians, such as murder and theft, and teaches that each death of a Christian serves… Read More
