Fine black Morocco leatherbound hardcover in fine hard marbled slipcase. From an edition of 450, 250 of which were sewn into marbled papers, 100 quarter bound in buckram, and 50 bound in goatskin, this copy is an out-of-series (unnumbered) example of the latter 50. Printed at the Libanus Press in Marlborough, England on Zerkall mould-made paper. A beautiful and collectible item. The source material for Paul Auster's screenplay and the film Smoke.
