Very good copy of the scarce bilingual literary magazine of French surrealists in exile.This copy is inscribed by Goll at his contribution, Atom Elegy, to Boris Pregel. Pregel was Jewish/Ukrainian engineer who was awarded the French Legion of Honour in 1939 for his role in the International Organization to Fight Cancer. Goll was diagnosed with leukemia tin 1945, so this presentation is quite fitting. After Pregel fled the Nazis he established a Radium & Uranium Mining company in NY that supplied the Manhattan Project.Quite a few pages are uncut. The Goll poem and the Yves Tanguy illustrations pages are cut.

Vorticist design by Dorothy Shakespeare Pound. Covers show rubbing to extremities, otherwise very good. One of 500 copies. The first appearance in book form of T..S. Eliot's poems including the "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock". Gallup B1.

Presentation to Professor Reginald Issacs who was a longtime friend of Walter Gropius and wrote the definitive biography of the architect.Pannaggi was an Italian painter & architect of the Futurist movement and was later associated with the Bauhaus. Laid in are 3 postcards depicting Pannaggi's work as well as a printed clipping description of a modernist house in Norway. Scarce signed copy of this monograph and a nice association copy.

She went on to a career in education and later devoted much of her time to poetry. This is a scarce book, especially signed.
