'I need art like I need God'
Signed in the year of publication by Tracey Emin, with a brilliant inscription that references her solo exhibition Tracey Emin: I need Art like I need God which took place at the South London Gallery from 16 April to 18 May 1997.
This monumental work features 1001 of Emin's beautifully scratchy drawings, published by Rizzoli. Rare to find signed.
First edition, first impression, signed, dated, and dedicated 'For Hanna I need art like I need God' by the artist in ink on the front flyleaf, with original printed paper cover, overall 175 x 265 x 70mm (6 7/8 x 10 3/8 x 2 3/4in). A very good example with minor wear.

A fine first edition of Karl Lagerfeld's award-winning tribute to Chanel's little black jacket with over 100 photographs. This rather beautiful first edition from 2012 features the original collector's slipcase. A brilliant addition to any collection and made all the more poignant with Lagerfeld's passing in 2019. Not ony was Lagerfeld a brilliant designer but he was also a prolific book collector.
Created during the fifties by Mademoiselle Chanel, the jacket has been endlessly reinvented by Karl Lagerfeld in each of his collections since 1983, for the most part, in the fundamental Chanel colour: black.
In the book, you'll find the jacket slipped on by the French singer, Vanessa Paradis; transformed into a headdress for the American actress, Sarah Jessica Parker; or adapted to Alice Dellal's neo-punk look, and much, much more.

This first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is fresh to the market (unheard of these days) and is the best I have ever seen and certainly the best a collector could hope for.

This is one of 5,150 copies in wrappers, with all the required points of the first impression: Bloomsbury imprint, 10-down-to-1 number line, the list of equipment on p. 53 with "1 wand" appearing twice in the list, and the misprint "Philospher's" on the back cover.

First edition, first impression, paperback issue of the first Harry Potter book. Both paperback and hardback issues of the first impression were published on 26 June 1997. A fine example both internally and externally with none of the usual creasing to the spine.

The rare first edition, first issue with first state binding of Ian Fleming's classic Thunderball, the first novel in the so called 'Blofeld trilogy' - three Bond novels to feature Ernst Stavro Blofeld as the main antagonist.

Thunderball is considered one of the greates Bond novels, alongside one of the greates Bond films with Sean Connery playing the iconic spy.

First edition, first issue (price listed as 15s. net.) with first state binding (itles in gilt rather than silver). A near fine example with minor foxing and minor wear to the jacket.

Despite being the fifth title, this was the first to be made into a film and is the start of one of the greatest cinematic franchies. Dr. NO really is the start of Bond-mania and for many collectors this is the book they seek above all else.

The story follows James Bond as he is sent to Jamaica to investigate the disappearance of a fellow agent. Bond soon discovers that the agent was murdered and that a mysterious scientist named Dr. No is behind the crime. Bond sets out to stop Dr. No and his plans to sabotage an American space launch

First edition, true first state. Publisher's original black cloth over boards with the earliest binding design( without the 'Dancing Lady' design on the upper board), silver titles to spine, dustjacket designed by Pat Marriott priced at 13/6. A near-fine to fine example with minor wear to the extremities of the dustjacket. Housed in a bespoke black cloth clamshell box with red interior.

Exceptionally rare; this banner has only surfaced a couple of times.

This was the ninth film in the series produced by Eon Productions. It was the second time that Roger Moore played James Bond, and the fourth and final time that Guy Hamilton would direct a Bond film. Christopher Lee plays the villain Francisco Scaramanga, whose golden gun is one of the most memorable Bond film props. This film was loosely based on Ian Fleming's novel, published in 1965

Published simultaneously with the signed limited edition on 1 April 1963. One of the classic 'Blofeld Trilogy'.

First edition, first impression, spelling error on page 41, line 6: 'four' for 'forty'. This is corrected by the second impression. A very good example with light lean to text block. The original dustjacket has wear to the extremities but overall a nice collectible example.

This is the fifteenth Bond film, and the fourteenth to be produced by Eon Productions. It was the seventh and last Bond film to star Roger Moore, and last to star Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny. The film was the third Bond feature to be directed by John Glen.

An exceptionally rare large scale original photograph taken by Herman Leonard on the set of the first James Bond film, Dr No of the iconic Sean Connery.
Dr. NO was the very first James Bond film, and paved the way for a hugely successful franchise which continues today. This film was produced by Eon Productions and directed by Terence Young, starring Sean Connery and Ursula Andress. It was based on the classic 1958 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming. Although made on a low budget, this film established many themes that are iconic and synonymous with Bond films.

Framed: 15 5/8 x 17 1/2 in. (39.6 x 44.4 cm)

Condition: Fine.

This photograph has been framed with a perspex window on the back showing the original information. It also has measurements on the back, which were to indicate required printing size.

A rare opportunity to acquire this historic and original NASA large format chromogenic print of Neptune taken by Voyager 2 on August 20, 1989 at a distance of 4.4 million miles from the planet.

Voyager 2 gave humanity its first close-up of our solar system's eighth planet. Marking the end of the Voyager mission's Grand Tour of the solar system's four giant planets — Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune — that first was also a last: No other spacecraft has visited Neptune since.

The Voyager probes launched in 1977. Together, they visited Saturn and Jupiter and their moons. But then, Voyager 2 had a unique opportunity.

"We had the opportunity to get a close flyby with Voyager 2," said Suzanne Dodd, Voyager Project Manager. "Because of the planetary alignment when the probes launched in 1977, the four giant outer planets were all aligned on the same side of the sun, so we could go from one to the next to the next. The Hound of the Baskervilles is renowned as one of the most iconic Sherlock Holmes books and widely recognized as an exemplary Edwardian novel. From its very publication, the novel has been adored and highly respected. Moreover, it is considered among the most visually appealing first edition books ever published with the binding a true work of art. The first edition, first issue is a notorious rarity and also features 16 plates depicting key scenes from the book.

First edition, first issue, 8vo with "you" for "your" on p.13, half-title, 16 plates by Sidney Paget, light foxing to title and first few pages, but a clean copy generally, original pictorial cloth, gilt, very light toning, spine ends and edges with neat repairs, corners lightly rubbed, still in effect a remarkably bright and excellent copy of the best Sherlock Holmes novel, a Haycraft-Queen cornerstone, [Green & Gibson A26], housed in custom-made slip-case.

Published in the same year as the first impression, this first colour illustrated edition (second impression overall) is the first time the world saw Middle-Earth in colour. This impression was printed in December of 1937 in an edition of 2300 copies (423 of which were destroyed at the warehouse of the binder, Key and Whiting, in the bombing of London on November 7th 1940). This example with the connection to the Tolkien family is one of a kind and has been held in the consignee's family by descent since 1938. One does presume that the book was originally given to his uncle by Tolkien himself.

An original, framed, four-sided piece of Mirage Music Ltd. sheet music for the 1968 Rolling Stones song 'Jumpin Jack Flash' by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. It is a rare piece of sheet music, but here all the rarer with Mick Jaggers signature. I can trace no other signed example.This was previously owned by one of the Biba Girls, the iconic 60s fashion shop and this is where is was signed by Mick Jagger.

This 1897 first edition, second impression of Dracula, by Bram Stoker, is a rare find in its original, unrestored condition. Unlike most copies, which have been repaired or rebound, this edition has avoided alterations by restorers. While other first editions may cost double or nearly triple the price, this first edition, second impression is an impressive addition to any collection at this price point and as said rare to find in such condition.
