Seuss wrote the landmark children's book using only 220 different words, a challenge and limitation set at the behest of his publisher.

Blue cloth, orange lettering & spyglass silhouette on front cover, orange silhouette endpapers. Two minor tears of 1 cm on page opposite the title page, couple very small closed tears, pages show tanning, bottom of spine is frayed and spine is held by tape.
