First Printing of the Simon and Schuster Edition. This is Bradburry's classic novel. Issued because of a renewed interest in the book, as a consequence of the movie of the same name that came out the previous year. Not the commonly found book club edition. Dystopian novel about the destruction of books by fire and the threat to the dissemination of ideas that follows. Rare in this edition.

Binder misprint on spine, "The Man, the Golden, nelson Algrin" double printed in Red. Small damage to top and base of soiled spine. Printing error points on pages 121 and 180 are present, indicating first edition. Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak Starred in a Movie Adaption of this Novel in the Mid 1950's. Signed and inscribed by Algren to Ben Hark, producer of "its your life" a short lived radio series. Sinatra's character is a drug addicted jazz musician, "torn between two women."
