Rare books from Comrie Antique Books

Handling Wear to the cover, bumping to the corners and spine, fading to the spine and the edges of the boards and some splitting along the top and bottom of the back hinge. The book is well bound but has a gap along the gutter of the end-papers as can be seen in image 5. Inside the book is missing the corner of page 7, an ink smudge to the margin of page 83 and the book has some light tanning and foxing throughout.

Undated, but I believe this is the 1934 1st UK Edition. Wishart merged with Martin Laurence in 1936 to become Lawrence & Wishart. There is a couple of the 1935 1st US Edition online all priced over £500, but none of the 1st UK Edition. Handling wear to the cover, bumping to the corners and spine, some wear to the board edges and a sticker mark on the front board. Inside the title page has a boot-library stamp, a staple is sticking up and rusted between pages 104-105, a couple of small stains between pages 66-68, a small red stain on the back end-papers and the book has a couple of creased corners. The book has notes, underlining and marks in the margins in pencil between pages 2-66 and the pages are lightly tanned.
