New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1932 Beautiful dark red binding with an ivory cameo inset with an elephant and a swastika (a Hindu religious symbol), a gilt border on the front cover, gilt printing on the spine and a gilt decoration on the spine. The binding has no bumping or rubbing but has darkened, somewhat. Gilt top edges of the 431 pages, deckle-edged. The pages are crisp, clean, unmarked, uncreased. Appears to be unread with some uncut pages. Frontispiece with tissue guards. The binding is good and tight. A fine collector's copy from a non-smoking household. Pictures available upon request.
