This workbook is written for students enrolled in Introduction to Education with Field Experience, EDF 1005 or EDF 2005, to use as a structured guide for the preparation and implementation of the mandated fifteen hours of school site observations. The bulk of the book provides students with the three "warm-up" exercises and seven observations logs. The eighth observation log focuses exclusively on student reflection and introspection. Intended to supplement your existing course curriculum and facilitate these observations hours, students can be assigned this workbook in its totality requiring only some preliminary coordination from you or the field coordinator. General instructions on procedures of school site visitations as well as brief discussions on the rules of confidentiality and liability and methods of documentation are included.
