Author lived during 'the early crusading period on Syrian soil'. He died in the year 1098. This memoir 'is considered a unique piece of Arabic literature'. A small owner name on inside front cover and a 1" Calvin College tiny label. No other markings. Map and Index at rear. Also includes a section of "Rare Anecdotes' at rear. Scholarly text. 265 pages.
