Signed and inscribed by the author: "To __, Check! Martin Popoff". First softcover printing. 260 pp (with discography). A chronicle of the Canadian rock band Max Webster, who developed a cult following in the late 1970's. The band formed in 1972, with mastermind lyricist Pye Dubois at the helm, and played bars, high schools, theaters, and eventually arenas, opening for bands like Styx, Kansas, REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, Blondie, and Genesis. With black & white photographs.

Max Webster, founded by Kim Mitchell, made 5 studio albums and 1 live album between the years 1976 and 1980. This title shares the name of the live album. Lots of black and white photographs in studio, live, adverts, memorabilia, and sleeves. A tribute to one of the finest rock 'N roll bands there ever was. There is a small crease across the lower corner of the last page, otherwise in fine condition. Wrapped in mylar which has been taped to itself on the inside front and back covers which is to say that it is not taped the book itself..
