From the publisher

Consider our lives on this earth described using geographical structures we may encounter representing some of the trials. Most of our lives are spent on the plains with flat contours, and sweeping landmasses filled with grass and all manner of vegetation. Many times, we encounter small creeks and expansive rivers with slow, flowing waters and raging rapids, respectively, that we need to cross. Numerous beautiful gardens are experienced with plentiful fruits, vegetables, and trees. Periodically, we come upon swamps or thorny and prickly structures that require careful navigation. As we achieve plateaus, we discover even more beauty than what we had perceived earlier, and see how far we have come and the obstacles we overcame. Unfortunately, at times we fall into chasms, ravines, fissures, gullies, or even an abyss. The purpose of this book is to engender consideration toward the heavens and understand, individually, the influence and presence of God the Father and His Son, Jesus the Christ and our Savior, in all the lives of the inhabitants of this earth, past, present, and future. It is to Them we give praise and glory as they alleviate our pain and suffering and elevate us from these chasms and raise us to the mountaintops. In addition, we acknowledge all the persons in our lives that carry us and relieve our burdens when needed. In this book, I describe the influence of family, friends, neighbors, associates, and even the persons on the other side of the world who are praying for peace and safety to reign upon all humankind. Our Heavenly Father and our Savior know every single person as we were, as we are, and as we will be. They know every person's level of faith and trials and desire us to take upon ourselves His yoke, as it is easy. In Luke chapter 17, KJV, Jesus heals ten lepers. Only one Samaritan returned to glory the Savior for healing him, and in verse 19, "And he said unto him, 'Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.'" Many may pass judgment that the other nine lepers did not have faith since they did not praise Jesus, but we cannot judge others, only the Savior and God in heaven know the faith and trials of all persons. 113
