Man könnte meinen, dass diese phänomenale Langlebigkeit im Kaukasus und dem vorderen Orient nur dieser Kultur eigen ist. Sie verbreitete sich nämlich im Laufe eines Jahrtausends von den Ursprungsgebieten in Ostanatolien, im Transkaukasus und Nordwestiran nach Südostanatolien, Nordsyrien, Palästina und Israel.
