Montreal; Brooklyn; Perth, ON, nd. Very good +. 3 carte-de-visite photos and 11 cabinet cards, all b&w. Of note is winter scene, really a portable screen placed behind, with "snow" and sled as props, as well as a scarce portrait of identical twins ("Mother and Aunt Lily"). Most subjects identified, on rear or on front.

Both Arless (1841-1903) and Summerhayes trained with William Notman. Arless was known for his photographs of Montreal scenes, sporting events, portraits.
