This is a profusely illustrated, antique copy of "1883 - The Illustrated Catalogue of the PARIS SALON" edited by F.G. Dumas. 1883; Chatto and Windus; London. "Containing about 400 Facsimile Reproductions of the Original Drawings by the Artists." Three-quarter leather binding with gilt lettering on the spine and red-stained page edges on all sides. There are pages written in both English and French.
Condition:
The top and bottom edges of the spine are worn; there is a 2" split at the top-right corner of the spine (despite the split, the front cover is still firmly in place and is not shaky). Wear to the leather at the cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. There is dark foxing at the lower-outer page corners from the title page up to contents page XX. Occasional light stain and foxing spot on the remainder of the pages. The end papers are heavily tanned. Overall the book is in Good condition.
