About This Item
Worthing: Henry E Walter, 1969. . 126 pages, paper a bit browned, past owner's details to flyleaf. A compilation of verses from the KJV: Part 1: An Abiding Promise for Every Day of the Year; Part 2: Abiding Promises for Everyday Needs (arranged under 33 categories). Compiler anonymous, but the following dedication is printed on the reverse of the title page: To my Father: 1850-1913. We know that there was a real H E Walter in the business as another of the publisher's titles appears under that name. From online sites Henry Ebenezer Walter (1881-1971) died in Worthing, and his father Henry James Walter lived 1850-1913. It would be interesting to know more about the history of H E Walter and his 20th century evangelical publishing house, which issued titles from at least 1938 to 1984.. First Edition. Paperback. Average.
