About This Item

This is a scarce, first edition copy of "About Zionism - Speeches and Letters" by ALBERT EINSTEIN. 1931 1st American edition, 1st printing (February); The Macmillan Company; New York. Translated and edited with an Introduction by Leon Simon. The contents are as follows: Introduction; Assimilation and Nationalism; The Jews in Palestine; Jew and Arab; Select Biography.

Condition:
There are a couple of very small, light stains near the bottom-right corner of the front cover. Bright gilt lettering on the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are lightly age-toned but clean with no issues found. Overall the book is in Very Good+ condition. (Note - on page 32, which is the blank page preceding the beginning of the "Assimilation and Nationalism" chapter, there is a dark, pea-sized spot - upon close inspection, this spot appears to be paper pulp, and not a stain...please see photo.)
