About This Item

London: A. Wilson, 1831. Good in publisher's black blindstamped cloth boards which are heavily fraying at the spine with some loss, hinges starting, some dampstaining and foxing to pages.. Revised edition to include history through the end of the reign of George IV who died a year prior to publication, amassing an fifteen additional pages. Includes hand colored "chronological chart of the history of England executed purposely for this work."

While Goldsmith's work is ubiquitous, this edition is evidently scarce with only two copies located on Worldcat, both outside of the USA.
