1917 with one plate; Centuria quinta, 1920; Centuria sesta, 1923. Vol II: Acari nuovi Redia Vol I, fasc 2, 1903, Manipulus I. Manipulus II; Manipulus III with 2 folding plates; Manipulus IV, 1905 with 3 folding plates; Manipulus V; Manipulus VI with 4 folding plates; Manipulus VII-VIII, 1913 with 8 folding plates; Manipulus IX, 1914 with 4 folding plates. The half leather bindings are clean and sound, with small gilt-lined raised bands to spine and gilt titles. Vol I has some scuffing and leather loss on the back board close to the spine at the top edge, and a small scuff at the side edge of the front board. Both have light scuffing to spine joints and to corners. The contents are clean. The paper is of varying quality with some sections being darker toned than others. There is a pencil note on the front pastedown of Vol I and an occasional ownership signature at the top of a paper. The plates are clean with occasional spotting - particularly in the later Manipulus offprints. Please enquire if you would like additional details and/or images.

About E C Books

E C Books is a small online bookselling business, specialising in pre 20th century works:natural history, science, history, and travel, aiming for rarer and more unusual books. Our largest stock area is Natural History, where we have a good range of books from the 1700-1800's, many finely illustrated. Other areas include children's books, particularly late 1800's-early 1900's - again illustrated; and literature pre 1900.When you order books from us we ensure that they are properly packed to protect condition, and we always use recorded or 'signed for' postal services for more secure delivery. Please note that we have recently moved to the beautiful Orkney Islands, where we intend to open a bookshop over the next year. Because of our location we cannot guarantee 'next day' delivery but we will get your purchase to you as quickly and safely as we can. Please note that the buyer is responsible for the payment of any tax or duty on import.
