The memoirs of the wife of a member of the Colonial Service working in Africa, principally Northern Rhodesia. The bright, atmospheric jacket is intact, whole and healthy. There is some very mild wear to the shelving edges. The spine is marked and sunned. The back cover is rubbed and marked. The cover is very neat, smart and sound. Inside, the front and end papers are tanned. From thereon the pages are exceptionally bright, fresh, clean, clear, endearing and sure. fk.
