Patterned endpapers. A fictionalized look at Germany and the German army at the end of World War I. Contents: In Prison Camp; Break-Up of the Old Army; The Army of Security; Against the Intelligence Corps; The Socialization; As Assistant to the Castle Commander; Disbandment of the Army of Security; With the Security Police During the Kapp Putsch; In the Police Recruiting Office. Interior - endpapers browning lightly, otherwise clean and tight with no previous ownership marks. Exterior - light edge wear, one tiny corner crease, faint small water splashes on boards, light rubbing, light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, edges of text block browning. G+.
