London: William Mackenzie. Decorative Cloth. Near Very Good. Division 2 Vol 1. Brown cloth cover with bright gilt and black decoration to front. Gilt & Black Illustration and lettering to spine with fallen Napoleonic Standard beneath lettering and a crown. Bevelled edges. All page edges bright gilt. Frontis is a B&W engraved portrait of the Duke of Wellington, protected by plain paper guard. 5 more B&W Plates inclding the "Charge of the Light Brigade at Balaclava". Text commences with Chapter XV, Pages numbered 242 to 480. Undated, Late 19th C. Cover has a little loss of colour due to a few spots of damp stain. some light Brown stain to the top corner margins of the first pages of plates (not affecting the pictures. Only a little foxing. Pages otherwise in very nice, crisp condition. Weighs over 1 Kilo so postage will be a little extra. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
