Brown cloth titled in tan on the front cover & the spine, in a color pictorial dust wrapper. The edges of the covers are rubbed. The edges of the soiled dust jacket are creased with some chipping and short tears and with rubbed indentations to the jacket's rear panel. 359 & [1] pages with profuse color illustrations throughout, mostly full-page. The hinges have been reinforced with paper & paste. The contents are near fine. Good. <p>First edition with text in English & Portuguese.<p>Clarival do Prado Valladares' critical biography of the Brazilian artist Alberto Valenca (1890-1983).
