A leporello or concertina style book with handsome German-printed photogravures, containing a 4 panel panorama "View of Sydney Harbour", along with views of Manly Beach, St. John's College, Commercial Bank of Sydney, The Gap South Head, Zig Zag Railway, Railway Station & Old Exhibition Building, Govett's Leap Waterfall, View of Government House, Post Office, St. Andrew's, Government Buildings Macquarie Street, Australian Museum, Messrs. F. Hoffnung, View from Government House Gardens, Mutual Providence Society, Australian Joint Stock Bank, Town Hall, Mutual Fire Assurance Society, Synagogue, Capt Cook's Monument Hyde Park, and La Perouse's Monment.
12mo. Bound in the original quarter cloth and red gilt stamped elaborately in gilt with "Advance Australia" crest and "Album of Sydney Views" printed on front board. Gilt bright, boards a little marked, corners rubbed, internally in fine condition.
