Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1948. xi, 160 pp. 22.5 x 14.5 cm. Red cloth covered boards with gilt titling to spine, in a pale blue dustjacket with black titling to cover and spine. Fold-out map at rear. Moderate toning to spine of jacket with a small 7 mm splash mark. Some scattered, very light foxing to panels of jacket with some toning to edges. Some very light bumping to corners of boards. Interior is clean and unmarked. Binding firm. An excellent first edition copy of the first volume of Tarn's work on Alexander the Great, with a very scarce dustjacket.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
