With 26 folding engraved plates. ¶ Bierens de Haan 4400. - Only edition of this uncommon work on the constructions of sundials. The author taught mathematics and astronomy at the Amsterdam Athenaeum. Fine copy of a work that rarely appears on the market. A number of leaves have annotations in the outer margin in a fine contemporary handwriting.
