No. 26 Wellington Street ; Piccadilly: Chapman & Hall, 1864. Half-Leather. Near Very Good. Stories include: "A White Hand and a Black Thumb", "Quite Alone" & "Never Forgotten". " Also Mrs Lirriper's Lodgings", Extra Christmas Number at the back. Each issue has it's own Header. Text arranged in Double Columns. Contemporary Red Half-Leather Binding with 5 Raised bands to spine. Gilt Title in 2nd compartment and Gilt Decoration in the others. Marbels paper-cover boards (combed pattern) and Leather Corners. Endpapers and all page edges Marbled (combed pattetrn). 9 1/2 " Tall, nearly 2 3/4" thick, 2 Kilos. Some edge wear, chips & rubbing to boards and a few small scrapes to leather. Hinges sound & Binding firm. No inscriptions except old penciled price. Some faint spots of foxing on title, contents and first few pages. Only very occasional spots elsewhere. Book weighs 2 Kilos so Shipping Outside UK will be extra. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
