Tight, handsome copy -- first of this edition, being "The texts of 'The Amateur Emigrant' and 'The Silverado Squatters'... based on those of Volume III of the Edinburgh Edition of Stevenson's works published in 1895." "The Amateur Emigrant" is a travel memoir recounting the first part of Stevenson's 1879-80 journey from Scotland to California, while "The Silverado Squatters" covers the last leg of this journey.
