Very large, heavy book, light gray boards, 260 lightly browned pages, profusely illustrated throughout with b/w photos and illustrations, color section too. DJ glossy dark red spine and front borders, color photo of locomotive in railyard slightly rubbed at center front, b/w photo of Carper on back, white back lightly browned. DJ has slight surface wear to front tips, very tiny nick and tiny tear at top front edge, 3/4" tear with light wear at bottom front edge, very slight surface wear at spine edges, tiny scratch at spine bottom right edge. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
