About This Item

Philadelphia: The Jewish Publication Society of America, 1969. This Stated First Edition (and unless it's stated, it's not) is in Fine condition with a close to Fine, unclipped dust jacket. As described on the front dust jacket: "An all-encompasing collection of pieces, may of them never before published in English, by people who were themselves victims and witnesses of the Holocaust." The book is bound in a woven red cloth, with gilt spine lettering. There is a discreet embossment from a former owner. The binding is tight and secure. The pages are clean, white, and sparkling throughout. The book is exceptionally fine except for a tiny splatter mark on the book's page edge. The dust jacket had two small closed tears and minor repairs. I've placed the dust jacket into a Brodart protective sleeve. The book measures 6 3/8 by 9 3/16 inches and includes 412 pages, which includes an Appendix section consisting of a Glossary, Biographies, and Acknowledgments. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
