The revival of this classic of Western Americana is made especially significant by the inclusion of an index and a new introduction by Paul Scheips. Barnes was a musician, soldier, cowman, forester, legislator, writer and much more. He was as multi-faceted as the American West he loved. A fine copy bound in beige cloth, spine lettering in gilt, in fine unclipped dust jacket.
