About This Item
Tucson, AZ, (1982): The University of Arizona Press. Octavo. Portrait frontispiece. 214pp., illustrated with photographic images. First published in 1941 by the Ward Richie Press. The revival of this classic of Western Americana is made especially significant by the inclusion of an index and a new introduction by Paul Scheips. Barnes was a musician, soldier, cowman, forester, legislator, writer and much more. He was as multi-faceted as the American West he loved. A fine copy bound in beige cloth, spine lettering in gilt, in fine unclipped dust jacket.
