Brown cloth hardcover with blind stamped "Carters Fireside Series" stamped on the covers. Gilt decorations and title on the spine. The front board, right front flyleaf, blank front end sheet, and pages 1 and 2 are detached from the binding. Cloth is chipped on the spine. Light scattered foxing and toning to the contents. Contents fit for a juvenile audience. This book was first published in England 1855.
