Printed for the Editors by The True Index., Warrenington, Va] First Edition Decorated cloth. 9-3/16 inches. 98 pages. Illustrated. Exterior boards a little bumped and spotted. Light foxing at endpapers only. Overall good + condition, with 1" closed tear to front fly and at bottom (margin) of page 18 only, Front fly followed by 3 more blank front endpapers. Binding very good. No reader, remainder, or ex-library marks. Includes A Brief Historical Sketch of the school describing Major Albert Galatin Smith (founder) educator, joined the Warrenton Rifles transfered to the 38th Virginia regiment, took part in the charge of Picket's brigade at Gettysburg where he saved the regimental colors. Photos of the band and mandolin band, football and baseball teams, and some belles, with brief biographies of their Southern charm and beauty.
