New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1922. Reprint Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. A nice early reprint edition 'with scenes from the photoplay'. In blue cloth with orange type and tite box. Some lightening/wear to edges, but still nice and bright. Short gift inscription to ffep dated 1925. Scarce jacket has chipping/short tears to edges, especially at corners and spine ends.
Synopsis
Babbitt , by Sinclair Lewis, was first published in 1922. This novel is a satire of American culture. It critiques society and the socially-acceptable behavior of middle-class American life and its pressure on individuals toward conformity.
