NY: Bantam Books; (1946). First Thus . Mass Market Paperback. Dust Jacket Included. First paper back edition (Bantam #22), very good+ in a very good dust jacket. Owner's name and address on inside of front cover, mostly behind the jacket flap. The pages are just starting to brown at outer edges. The jacket has some edgewear along the top of the front cover, small chips at top of rear panel and heel of spine, and s couple of closed tears. One of the few early Bantam paperbacks to be issued in a dust jacket.
Synopsis
Babbitt , by Sinclair Lewis, was first published in 1922. This novel is a satire of American culture. It critiques society and the socially-acceptable behavior of middle-class American life and its pressure on individuals toward conformity.
