The novel on which Orson Wells loosely based the 1958 film Touch of Evil starring Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Orson Welles, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich and Zsa Zsa Gabor. Masterson is a pseudonym for the American writing partnership of Bob Wade and H. Bill Miller. First British edition (first printing). Red cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. Near fine in a dust jacket with a short closed tear to the cover and a short snag to the rear panel and spine head.
