Chicago: Chicago Literary Club, 1912. First Edition. Pamphlet. Very good. 7"x4 3/4". Grey wraps. 41 pp.
Wrap edges overhang text block, resulting in some curling and closed tears. Stains on spine. Pages unopened.
This is a paper printed for members of the Chicago Literary Club, limited to 660 copies. The decorations on the cover and title page are by famed Orientalist scholar F.W. Gookin, who served as club secretary and treasurer from 1880-1920, and President from 1921-1922. The paper's author, C.E. Cheney, was Presiden from 1908-1909. An attractive and scarce artifact of Chicago literary history in very good condition.
