About This Item

Sedona, AZ: Light Technology Publishing, 1991. First edition. First edition, copy #219 in the hand-numbered limited issue. Signed by William Cooper on the paste down with a short inscription, also signed on p. 4 with a red stamp as was typical for this edition. Rear paste down hand numbered as well. [x], 500, [2] pp with fold-out chart at rear. Bound in publisher's dark navy cloth with gilt spine lettering. Very Good with a few very light stains to edges, textblock slightly fallen due to weight, slightly musty smell, in a Near Fine dust jacket with wear along head, a little rubbing. Uncommon.

A controversial, self-published conspiracy/UFOlogy book that gained an enormous cult following over the years not only in the UFO, QAnon and militia subcultures but also in hip hop. Prodigy of Mobb Deep and both Killah Priest and Ol' Dirty Bastard of the Wu-Tang Clan were fans. In what should be an official blurb for the book, when talking to Cooper's biographer Mark Jacobson ODB said in 2004, "Everybody gets f---ed, William Cooper tells you who's f---ing you... when you're someone like me, that's valuable information."

This first edition contains a chapter, "Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion," that would be cut from later editions. After tax evasion charges, vowing to never be taken alive by authorities, Cooper was killed in a 2001 shootout with sheriff's deputies in Eagar, Arizona.
