Very Good plus in a Very Good plus dust jacket. Endpapers lightly soiled, with glue darkening along the front gutter. Jacket spine panel lightly faded, with small splashes on the spine and left edge of the front panel.
Synopsis
A Bell for Adano is a film directed by Henry King starring John Hodiak and Gene Tierney. The film was adapted from the novel A Bell for Adano by John Hersey, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1945. The story concerns Italian-American U.S. Army Major Joppolo, who is placed in charge of the town of Adano during the invasion of Sicily.
