About This Item
Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1984. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 203 pages. A collection of essays by the author of Desert Solitaire. Published primarily as a trade paperback with a relatively small number of hardcover copies. Scarce in hardcover. First edition hardcover issue (first printing). A margin stain on page 78 and a small stain to top of page block thus near fine with a bookseller sticker to rear pastedown; in a very good first state dust jacket (McMurtry spelled wrong on front) with a snag to the front flap, a 1/2 inch closed tear to front panel, and very slight fading to spine. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper with a gift inscription under Abbey's signature from a previous owner.
