Attractive binding in half leather: red morocco spine and corners over red cloth boards, with gilt title and decorations in compartments to spine, and gilt border lines to front and back; marbled endpapers and red tinted page edges. vii preface, 656pp. With coloured folding map of Palestine at start, and small b&w engraved illustrations in the text. Very Good copy. Gilt bright with very light rubbing to cover edges, a few marks including faded streak to front cover cloth. Binding sound, pages clean, occasional light foxing or browning, a bit heavier to early leaves. lovely copy .Pictures available
