Pale peach coloured softcover, a few marks to the covers, some wear and some paper loss at the bottom of the spine, cover corners slightly turned up. Clean internally, some pencil marginal markers. Pages; X, (2), 239. With 2 plates and numerous illustrations of title pages from old Petronius editions. With a 35 page essay on Petronius at the start, followed by the bibliography. A proof copy for review- with the words Ter recensie stamped on the title (for review in Dutch).
