About This Item

From the introduction, regarding Bingham: "Here was a challenging person, a contradiction that almost defied description. Yes, he was an artist but he was, also a fighter. He could trowel on the charming drawing room conversation but he could toss off typical Mike Fink language too." "He was a soldier and a statesman, a burning patriot, a clever phrase maker and rhetorician, a solid family man and an avid student of the Bible."

Images of Bingham's art are in good condition, but are black and white.

Good condition. Cover is uncoated card stock with brown text and image. Some soiling. Wrinkles on spine. Slight edge and some corner wear. Pages are lightly tanned, There is at least one creased corner, and there may be some soiling on page edges. Pages are clean - no marks on text or images. Overall a tight copy. Please see photos.
