About This Item
New York: Macmillan, 1954. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This is a stated first edition. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks or wear. The grey covers are clean, with light bumps to the top and bottom of the spine, and some mild fading along the top. The dust jacket is clipped, but the original price of $2.75 is still visible. The jacket is also in VG condition, with light wear overall, some chips missing from the top and bottom of the spine, and some handling visible on the back panel. The jacket is now in a protective plastic cover, and looks very attractive. Scans are available on request. Synopsis: Masked intruders break into the photography studio of Dennis Mallory. Anne, his wife, was killed for no apparent reason, and Mallory was blinded. Refusing to accept either her death or his own blindness, Mallory tracks down the killers.
