Some foxing to the inside of the jacket. Text is clean. INSCRIBED to another sports writer, Kevin Reid (who co-authored the autobiography of Cardinal's Enos Slaughter's "Country Hardball."). The inscription in this book reads, " Dec. 1996 / To Kevin Reid, my friend and especially Enos Slaughter's, a good writer and a good guy who ALSO think historical accuracy in sports is important too. Pleasant reading, especially Chapter 22 (page 164). Very best, Sincerely, Bob Broeg." Laid in loosely is also a note to Kevin Reid from the author, "Dear Kev.. thanks for the material.
