BOUND WITH: A New Version of the Psalms of David, Fitted to The Tunes used in Churches. By N. Brady, D. D., and N. Tate, Esq. Oxford: Printed at the University Press. Sold by E. Gardner and Son..., 1849. 12mo, unpaginated, collating a - C12 D6, title-page in red and black. 2 volumes in 1. Bound by Barritt in black goatskin over bevelled boards, the covers with raised compartments, tooled in blind with gilt roundels, spine in six compartments, tooled in blind crosses with a central gilt roundel, gilt dentelles, all edges gauffered in gilt, with a brass clasp. Some very slight wear to binding, but a very good to fine copy. A similar example of a binding by John Little Barritt (1801 - 1863) can be found in the British Library's Database of Bookbindings (search for Barritt).
