About This Item
Two World War I era notices on Boston Globe letterhead, dated August 17th & August 21st, 1915, to what is possibly a distribution agent for the Globe and the Boston Post in Phillips, Maine. Each notice measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches and each is somewhat age-toned but with no tears or paper loss. The first notice was enclosed with a bill from the Globe and advises that the paper will be glad to supply copies if the bill (against a third party) is paid by check. The second notice advises that "if you should decide to pay this bill and have a supply of papers from the Globe without the stipulation that you shall be the only agent, we will supply you." These notices are ensconced in a clear protective display sleeve with a white cardstock backing board.
